In the final session of Finance Meets Sustainability, Christian Boserup of ESG Implementation addressed the question that follows every well-researched proposal into the room: why does a good case sometimes still not get funded? The answer, in most cases, is not the data. It is the frame. This session walked through the three frames finance actually responds to, the four layers every fundable business case requires, and the one sentence that determines whether a proposal survives the corridor before it reaches the boardroom.

Three sessions, one continuous question: what does it take to go from data sitting in a financial system to a funded proposal on the CFO's desk? Session 3 closes the loop on 4 June

Your profit and loss statement is already a map of your emissions footprint, if you know how to read it. In Session 2 of Finance Meets Sustainability, Line Knudsen from Keepers and Pavlina Caccioni from Konges Sløjd walked through how financial data drives emissions accounting, supplier dialogue, and the reality check on whether your sustainability initiatives are actually working. The recording is ready. Fill in your details below, and we'll reveal the link to you.

In Session 1 of Finance Meets Sustainability, Kirstine Hartung Larsen (K² Nordic) and Höskuldur Arason (DataDrive) walked through a problem most sustainability teams hit early: the data exists, but getting to it is harder than expected. The recording is ready. Fill in your details below, and we'll reveal the link to you.

Most organisations now have more structured data than they know what to do with. The dashboards look good. The numbers agree. And often, nothing changes. In Session 2 of Finance Meets Sustainability, we look at exactly that gap: what happens between the data and the decision, and how to close it.

Your clients are asking. Your auditors are tracing. Your leadership is waiting on a business case. The data they need is almost certainly already within your organisation: your ERP, your procurement records, your invoices. The problem is rarely that it doesn't exist. It's that three specific blockers stand between it and a decision.

Most sustainability teams are sitting closer to the data they need. It's already in your organisation, in procurement systems, supplier invoices, and financial reports. The question is how to find it, structure it, and use it in a way that actually moves things forward.
