What is Klappir Enviromaster
The Klappir EnviroMaster is a SaaS solution (module) on the Core.Klappir.io platform designed to help you create strong infrastructure for smart environmental management and sustainability practices.
What is scope 1, 2 and 3 ?
Our methodology is based on the three scopes defined in the GHG Protocol
Scope 1: All direct emissions stemming from the activities of an organisation.
Scope 2: Indirect emissions from electricity purchased and used by the organisation. Emissions are created during the production of the energy and eventually used by the organisation.
Scope 3: All other indirect emissions stemming from operational activities, for example through services provided by others. Staff flights are a good example.
What is Carbon offsetting ?
Carbon offsetting is the reduction in emissions of greenhouse gases generated by operational consumption in one area to offset the emissions of another.
How do I offset my carbon emissions ?
Carbon offsetting can be done through various means such as investments into tree or land conservation (i.e. tree planting), investing into carbon investment funds that manage a portfolio of projects.
What is tCO2e ?
The emissions inventory consumption data is calculated into the tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent through various regional and standard coefficients emissions estimates.
How do I create Assets ?
Under the Assets in the platform tree on the left, open the Assets. Click the New Asset button, then click the Manual option to Add one asset at a time.
Next, Choose the Type of asset from the dropdown list. In the next screen you will need to fill out the Required fields (*) and any Optional Fields you desire, but the Optional information can be edited later in the Asset card.
How do I group assets ?
Grouping Assets together is common and provides additional sorting for the analytics. Click the check squares to the left of the assets to select the desired ones for the new group. Click the dropdown arrow in the Add Assets to Group and then click the + Create New Group.
Why should I group assets ?
Grouping assets together allows for comparable analytics within the group when assessing the consumption data. Grouping assets can also assist in managing various assets across subsystems that may be shared.
Can I add assets to more than one group ?
Yes. Assets can be added to mutliple groups.
How do I connect datastreams ?
Connecting data streams straight from the data sources (service providers) is a sophisticated method for gathering accurate and transparent consumption data and emisssions. This feature is only available If your suppliers, service providers and stakeholders have a digital infrastucture to accomodate the API connection requried. I can´t see my service provider, what do I do?
Add a new service provider name and then proceed to the import data feature. Import the associated data from that provider and assign.
How do I change the language ?
Click the Language icon in the login screen (top-right corner) or under the account settings (top-right corner) after logging in.
How do I add a user ?
In the platform tree to the left, open the Users and invite the new user through their email. Choosing the role for Admin or Standard user is required.
How do I upload CSV files ?
Under the platform tree open the Data item. Next click the Import Data and you will notice a group of icons and data categories. Choose the category for which you want to import the CSV file.
You will need to Choose or Create the Datasource. If you have already created the datasource, use the dropdown arrow and select from the list. If you are doing this for the first time, use the dropdown arrow and then click the + Register New Supplier. In the popup you need to name your supplier accurately and enter a registyration number for the supplier. Confirm when finished to complete.
After upoading the datasets, connecting the transactional data to each asset is done under the Assets. You will notice a message informing that there is unassigned data.
How do I add data to my ESG report ?
Next, select the cell for the data item you want to enter and simply type in the text or number. Remember to Save (Changes) when you have finished and the Statement will update all the new data.
I have already connected data with assets, why is the old asset popping up again ?
Connect the data to the associated asset to clear. Refresh the system to accept changes.
Why is there a difference in what I see in the analytical tool and the information I receive from my service provider ?
The transactional data imported or supplied by the data provider must be connected to the correct asset for accuracy in the Insights analytics.
I can´t see usage data for an asset
Double check that all data is assigned to the correct asset. Under each consumption category you can inspect the transactional data. Use the filters (Groups, Assets, Suppliers) and Date range to minimize the quantity of data to inspect.
How do I compare groups ?
Use the filter for Asset groups and click the desired groups for comparison in each consumption category.
I can´t see my service provider on the Data source lists. Can I connect to them ?
